"It has a different, characterful nose—I wonder if it's because of the flor in one of the foudres—with some yeasty notes, hints of baked bread/brioche and bright yellow fruit that reminds me of some Savagnin wines. It has a round, tasty and structured palate with mellow acidity and an almost salty twist in the finish. It's a variety that ages nicely in bottle. This is very attractive and different, perhaps a new way for Albillo? 5,000 bottles produced."

Efter at have arbejdet med både salg og produktion af kvalitetsvin i Castilla y León gennem 25 år, kunne han ikke bare lade stå til. I 2013 etablerede han således familievinfirmaet SotoManrique med sin kone, Manrique og hendes søster.
